Returns & Refunds Policy

At Take Home Deals, your satisfaction is our priority. We understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations, and we are committed to making the return and refund process as smooth as possible. This policy outlines the terms under which returns, exchanges, and refunds are accepted in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.
1. Eligibility for Returns
You may request a return within 7–14 days of receiving your order, provided that:
- The item is unused, unworn, and in its original packaging.
- All labels, seals, and accessories are still intact.
- Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) is provided.
Certain items are non-returnable, including:
- Perishable or consumable goods.
- Personal care or hygiene products.
- Items listed as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” on the product page.
If you are unsure whether your item qualifies, please contact us before returning it.
2. Return Process
To initiate a return:
- Email us at admin@takehomedeals.co.za with your order number and reason for return.
- Our support team will review your request and provide you with a Return Authorization and instructions.
- You may be asked to return the product via courier or drop it off at a designated collection point.
Please do not send items back without prior approval, as unregistered returns may not be processed.
3. Return Shipping Costs
- If the return is due to a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, Take Home Deals will cover the return shipping costs.
- If the return is due to a change of mind, the customer will be responsible for the return courier fees.
Return shipping details and cost estimates will be communicated during the return authorization process.
4. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or not as described:
- Notify us within 48 hours of delivery at admin@takehomedeals.co.za.
- Please provide photos or a short video showing the issue to help us process your claim quickly.
After verification, we will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund, depending on product availability and your preference.
5. Refunds
Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days.
- Refunds will be made to your original payment method (e.g., card, EFT, or wallet credit).
- If you have not received your refund after 10 business days, please contact us for assistance.
6. Exchanges
We currently offer exchanges for items of the same type and value, subject to stock availability. If your preferred item is out of stock, you may choose an alternative product or request a refund.
7. Sale & Promotional Items
Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds.
Sale, clearance, or promotional items may only be exchanged or credited, depending on the circumstances and at the discretion of Take Home Deals.
8. Consumer Rights
This policy complies with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa. Your statutory rights under the Act are not affected by this policy.
